On 7 March 2019 the Board appointed Flora Herberich as its new Chair. She warmly welcomed her nomination.
“Having joined the board of Odd Eyes Theatre in 2017, I’m delighted to be stepping into the role of Chair and continue the amazing work and legacy of Jo Salkilld who has supported the growth and development of Odd Eyes over the last six years.
I believe that the work of Odd Eyes Theatre is vital and brings hugely valuable and important conversations to people and communities who are often excluded from the arts world. I support Emilia’s tireless work to develop an independent company that has a strong vision and commitment to making socially and politically relevant work.”
Flora Herberich is an independent producer and project manager with a background in contemporary circus and outdoor arts. In 2010 she was awarded an Arts Council funded fellowship in circus producing and spent two years working with leading London organisations like the Roundhouse, Crying Out Loud and Jacksons Lane, where she continues to be an associate. Flora works with a range of artists and tours work to festivals and venues across the UK; she has recently produced her own circus festival in South London and currently produces the HF ArtsFest in West London. She also serves on the board of youth arts CIC Kids on the Green.
