Accent on Acting was the pilot workshop programme designed to test our vision of theatre for international participants in 2010 (when Odd Eyes Theatre was still called ISLaD).
Run by professional theatre makers and voice tutors, the workshops combined learning with creative thinking and attracted both professional and non-professional performers with experience of migration.
Accent on Acting and our work with English second language speakers formed the foundation for our work with migrants, refugee and asylum seekers and for our programmes aimed at opening up communication between individuals from different culture, social background and walks of life.
